How Do I Post?
To add a memories post of your own, or to add a comment to another post, you must first create an account.
On the User account page, add a username and enter your working email address. Click the button at the bottom to create your new account. If there are any errors with your submission, you'll see a message explaining how to correct the form.
After successfully submitting the form, you'll be redirected to the Warsaw Inn Memories home page and you'll see a message, "Your password and further instructions have been sent to your e-mail address." To activate your account, simply open your email and follow the link to log in. You may change your password from the one that was automatically generated for you by going to the My account page and clicking the "edit" link.
If you forget your password, you may request a new password and new log-in information will be sent to your email address.
Please make sure your posts, comments, photos and videos are family-friendly and respectful of others. Photos must be less than 3 megabytes each, and videos must be smaller than 2 gigabytes and shorter than 10 minutes. Do not use photos or videos without permission (which is a copyright violation). Videos must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service.
Posting a Warsaw Inn Memory
You may post thoughts and stories about your experiences at Warsaw Inn, and add photos and video as well. Once you're logged in, a menu appears in the left sidebar with your username and several links. Under "Create content" follow the link Warsaw Inn Memories.
At the top of the Create Warsaw Inn Memories page, you'll find the "Title" text box. Enter a title for your post.
You may include up to three photos (optional). For each photo that you would like to add, click the "Choose File" or "Browse" button, whichever applies to your web browser. This will access folders on your computer. Find the photo file and click the "Open" button. The selected file now will be listed the text box. Next, click the "Upload" button to send the photo to our website. It will not be saved, however, until you have finished adding content to the page and saved it. Add more photos in the same way, up to three per post.
You may also add one video (optional). Videos will be stored in our YouTube account, and they are publicly viewable. To add a video, click the "Choose File" or "Browse" button, whichever applies to your web browser. This will access folders on your computer. Find the video file and click the "Open" button. The selected file now will be listed the text box. Next, click the "Upload" button to send the photo to YouTube. This may take some time to upload, up to 15 minutes after you finish your content and save the page.
Write your thoughts or memories in the "Body" text box.
Then click "Preview" to look over your page, and when satisfied, save it. If you have included a video, refresh your page after fifteen or twenty minutes to see the video.
Posting A Comment
Click the "Add a new comment" link on any posted Memories page, and simply enter your subject (title) and your comment. Then click "Preview" and after you're satisfied with the message, "Save" it.
